How To Make a Homemade Medicine Ball
Learn how to make your own homemade medicine ball! Using just an old inflatable ball, some sand, and some duct tape, you can make yourself a tool that can help you lose fat, gain muscle, and get incredibly fit!
Here’s What I Used:

Cut a slit in the ball. If you are using an old basketball, cut along a seam.

Using the scoop, fill the medicine ball up with sand.
Shake the ball frequently to settle the sand and create more space.
Fill the ball up as fully as possible.

Close the slit in the ball with a piece of duct tape.

Continue taping the ball.
Depending on whether or not you will be throwing and slamming the ball, you might want to tape it thoroughly, as with the ball on the right. Each round of tape passes over the slit, making it more and more secure.
Now you have yourself a DIY medicine ball!
The smaller ball on the left weighs about 6 pounds, and the larger ball on the right, a former women’s regulation size basketball, weighs 22 pounds.
